How to play

Line up three or more crystals of the same kind, across, down or diagonally. Clear 50 crystals to reach the next sector. When the well fills to the top you lose a probe and the board is cleared; the game ends when the last probe is gone. You earn another probe every 100,000 points, up to five.

Touch (iPhone and iPad): drag left or right to move, tap to rotate, drag down and hold to fall faster, flick down to drop. The round pause button pauses the game and opens How to Play.

Controller: D-pad or left stick to move, Up to rotate, Down to fall faster, B to drop, Menu to pause.

Keyboard: arrow keys to move, Up to rotate, Down to fall faster, Space to drop, P to pause, M to mute, N for the next song. On Steam, keys and buttons can be changed in Mission Control.

Common questions

I don't see any planets. A planet starts as a tiny dot far off and comes closer with every crystal you clear; you arrive at the end of sectors 5, 10 and 15. On iPhone, turn your device sideways to see the whole voyage.

Where are my scores saved? On your device only. On iPhone and iPad they're in the app's own storage, and are removed if you delete the app. On Windows they're in Documents\My Games\Starfacet.

Can I turn off the vibration? Yes: Settings on the title menu, Haptics.

How do I see the touch tips again? Open How to Play and choose "Show touch tips again".
